The best way for us to provide our guests with the very best experience on the
Web is to give you what you want. We can't do that unless we hear from you what is useful
to you and what is not. All observations will be considered as it is our fervent desire to
meet your needs. The questions below represent the most common questions asked and, where appropriate
has already been addressed on the site.

What is the minimum lead-time for an Address, Workshop or Retreat?
An Address can be scheduled on 2 weeks notice. A Workshop requires thirty days advance notice.
A Retreat, usually over a weekend, requires a minimum of 60 days notice.
These are estimates dependent upon what preparations are necessary in each case.
How are transportation & lodging handled?
Travel and hotel reservations and payment are made by the event sponsor, as necessary.
Given prior notice they can be added into the fee payment.
Are the quoted fees subject to negotiation?
Yes, under special circumstances. If we believe that there is a compelling reason to adjust our fee schedule
(i.e. has served as an event HOST SITE previously, multiple assignments, local circumstances,
community service organization, etc.). The fees quoted are base fees, not including transportation &
lodging, subject to change as circumstances may require. Depending on the scope of the event,
additional facilitators may be necessary.
What are the requirements to serve as an event HOST SITE?
A HOST SITE provides the event facility and related amenities (i.e. tables, chairs, microphones, on-site
registration, etc.). We are currently accepting invitations from Colleges and Universities to serve as a
HOST SITE for a weekend retreat: Basic Training For Student Leaders (Fri -Sun). Host sites must accommodate
upwards of 150 students.
Why serve as a Host Site? (What's in it for me?)
Host Sites receive up to 30 FREE registrations. Host sites receive prominent mention on all event
communications. Host sites receive a 25% discount on all events scheduled within 12 months.
An institution serving as a Weekend Leadership Academy Host will, generally offer the following:
Meeting space (lodging, as necessary) for up to 75 students (1 large room for all, 4 breakout rooms for 25 each).
Transportation/lodging for 1 Weekend Academy leader.
(depending on size of group, The Academy will pay for any additional support).
Help us identify and promote the event to local area schools (The Academy will supply materials).
Serve as a point of contact/information for the event.
3 faculty/staff as event assistants/small-group facilitators.
Input in the retreat agenda/schedule.
HOST SITE receives 1 FREE registration for 2 students registered at full price ($135).
At 50 paid, Host receives 25 free (valued at $3375) .
HOST SITE will receive a 25% discount on any workshops ordered within 1 year of event.
Ideally,The retreat would occupy a Saturday (not requiring overnight accommodations for students)
and the cost to you would include transportation/lodging of the Retreat Leader (and any necessary admin
support...copying, registration, etc.). We can talk about providing break snacks, a light lunch and/or dinner.
Lunch could be 'on your own' ?
Is there a discount for purchasing multiple workshops?
Yes. There are several ways to save.
If you schedule 2 workshops on the same day, you receive both for $1495 (SAVE $200!)
Schedule 3 workshops within 2 days, and receive the third at 25% off!

Schedule a LEADERSHIP TRAINING RETREAT at your site. This includes 4 workshops, team building activities, group & individual challenges, peer reviews, and topical focus groups over 1 or 2 days. This usually targets selected leadership-related issues. Only $2595! (SAVE $800!)
Plan A WEEKEND LEADERSHIP ACADEMY. This includes 6 workshops, team building activities, group &
individual challenges, peer reviews, and topical focus groups over 2-3 days. This activity is designed to
cover all essential leadership topics.

How much does it cost to subscribe to the Basic Training newsletter?
It is FREE. The occasional (quarterly or more) 'Basic Training' newsletter is a collection of
powerful insights, words that encourage and inspire, novel ideas, book reviews, and more! You are
free to opt out at anytime.
