Ariveting speaker and frequently requested
workshop and conference presenter, lecturer, and consultant
on leadership issues, Mr. Jefferson currently serves as Executive
Director, The Leadership Academy of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Previously, he served 11 years as Associate Director of Student
Life and Coordinator of Leadership Development at Montgomery
College in Rockville, Maryland. He started a number of successful
businesses, including: an advertising agency, concert productions,
and contract food service. Mr. Jefferson’s background also
includes serving as a senior-level officer for several national
associations.
Author of How To Work With People: Basic Training for Student Leaders, he advises
individuals and groups in matters related to leadership, individual and organization
goal achievement, program planning, scholastic achievement, community service,
and human relations issues.
A Howard University School of Business
and Public Administration graduate, George Jefferson has more
than 15 years of hands-on leadership development experience
with educational, corporate, and non-profit organizations.
